Dead Sea Marathon 2026 – Registration Regulations

General

The website run serves as a showcase site and as a paid registration site for the Dead Sea Marathon race. The site is operated by 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd., P.O. Box 2313, Beer-Sheva, Company No. 512629254.

The provisions of these regulations apply to every use of the site and every purchase made through the site, and will constitute the legal basis for any discussion between the surfer and 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. Therefore, these regulations must be read in full and carefully.

Browsing the site and/or registering for the race constitutes the user’s consent to accept and act in accordance with the regulations. If the user does not agree to any of the conditions, they are requested not to use the site.

Everything stated in the masculine also refers to the feminine; masculine is used for convenience only.

I am aware that before, during and after the race, photography teams acting on behalf of the event and race organizers may photograph me. I confirm that I have no and will have no claim regarding the rights to these photos of me. In addition, I give my consent that anyone acting on behalf of the company and/or Tamar Regional Council and/or the race, including sponsors, agents and race representatives, may use my photos without any limitation on use (including location) and duration of use without any claim on my part in this matter. For the avoidance of doubt, “photos” refers to still and/or video images. This consent also applies to the use of my photos for future race promotion in advertisements, banners, signage, websites, any other advertising medium and any use the company and/or Tamar Regional Council and/or anyone acting on their behalf sees fit regarding the race.

Race Registration System

Sales on the site are conducted as a regular sale. A regular sale is the sale of products at a predetermined fixed price until stock is exhausted. The user selects a product (it is recommended to review the sales page before purchasing) and makes the purchase according to the instructions on the site.

All amounts and prices displayed on the various sales pages include VAT by law if VAT applies to the transaction.

When registering, the user must enter basic details such as name, address, email address, phone number, credit-card number, ID number, gender and additional details if required. Accurate details must be provided so the order is processed quickly and without errors.

The charge for the cost of the product or service purchased will be made by credit card after the action is carried out. Immediately after the action, the credit-card details will be verified, and upon approval of the order by the credit-card companies, a notice will be given that the action was approved or declined. Submitting false details is a criminal offense; offenders are liable to criminal and civil legal proceedings.

If the transaction is not approved by the credit-card companies, the user will receive notice. To complete the purchase, the user must contact customer service by phone to arrange credit-card approval. The action will be deemed complete only after the credit-card companies approve the transaction. In such a case, delivery dates will be counted only from the date of approval by the credit-card company. If the user does not arrange approval within 7 days from the date of receiving the refusal notice, Forum Eventim Tamar Ltd. will be entitled to cancel the order.

Registration for the race is limited in number of participants.

Every registrant who paid on the site must present proof of purchase/confirmation plus ID.

The products sold on this site relate only to the purchase of tickets for the various races and camping and do not include the purchase of tour packages.

For the avoidance of doubt, the link for marketing accommodation packages for the Dead Sea Marathon race shown on the site is solely to assist in finding accommodation near the Dead Sea at times close to the race. The link is implemented and managed by a travel agent working with the Dead Sea Marathon and under their sole responsibility. 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. and/or anyone on its behalf has no involvement or responsibility regarding the purchase of accommodation packages for the race even if purchased via the link on the race site.

Use of the Site

Any user may register for the race on the site, subject to all of the following cumulative conditions:

  • The user is legally competent to perform binding legal actions. If the user is a minor (under 18) or not entitled to perform legal actions without a guardian’s approval, use of the site will be considered as if guardian approval was obtained.

  • The user holds a valid Israeli ID card or a corporation duly incorporated and registered in Israel.

  • The user holds a valid credit card issued in Israel by one of the credit-card companies.

  • The user has an email inbox on the Internet and an address in Israel.

Privacy Policy

010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. respects the user’s privacy. If the user does not wish to receive notices of promotions and discounts, they may at any time remove their details from the site’s mailing list and/or via any means provided in every email and/or SMS received.

By giving consent during registration to receive marketing messages from the site (by email and/or SMS), such consent constitutes a knowing and voluntary confirmation to receive marketing content from 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. on culture, lifestyle and sport. The user will have no claim against 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. and/or Tamar Regional Council and/or anyone on their behalf under Section 30A of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) 1982.

Cancellation of Registration and/or Failure of Consideration

Cancellation policy is subject to the Consumer Protection Regulations (“Cancellation of a Transaction”) 2011 link.

A request to cancel a service/participation must be submitted in writing only, by email to marathon@forumpro.co.il.

If the cancellation is made within 14 days of registration, the participant will be refunded the full amount minus ₪10 to cover billing and clearing fees.

Updating or Changing Registration Details

Until 06/01/2026, a request to change a race division can be sent for a handling fee of ₪50. After this date, no changes can be made.

A consumer requesting to cancel a transaction must present the trader with an invoice evidencing the transaction. Subject to the above, 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. will honor a cancellation order according to law.

010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. may cancel a transaction and/or sale, in whole or in part, if an obvious typographical error occurred, whether in the product price or description.

Notice of cancellation will be given to the customer by phone and/or in writing to the address provided at registration. In that case, your order will be canceled, and 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. will refrain from charging your credit card or refund any amount paid. Other than refunding the transaction amount, you will have no claim against 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. for such cancellation. Event registration cancellation shall be made in writing to 010 Entrepreneurship Ltd. only, via the contact form on the site; the form must be filled out accurately and in detail.

Every effort will be made to respond as soon as possible and within 24 hours.

Jurisdiction

These regulations are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the courts in the Tel Aviv–Jaffa district only.

Site Security

The site is secured according to Israel’s strict PCI security standards and credit-card company requirements. We do not store users’ credit-card details.

Dead Sea Marathon 2026 – Official Race Rules

  • A category will open for a minimum of 5 runners. If the minimum is not met, participants will be included in the adjacent category.

  • Participant age is calculated by birth year (not day and month). For example, a participant born in February 1993 and one born at the end of December 1993 are both considered 30 years old for category calculation. Age categories will be updated before the race by the timekeepers.

  • The right to participate is granted to those who registered, paid, appear on the participant list, presented the required approvals during registration, and signed the health declaration when receiving the participation kit.

  • Giving the participant kit to someone else and participating under another name is strictly forbidden and endangers the participant’s health.

  • Running with a shirt or singlet and the bib number on the front and the timing chip provided at kit distribution is mandatory.

  • Participants must follow the competition management’s instructions: judges, marshals, organizers, management and rescue vehicles, army and police. A participant who does not comply will be disqualified.

  • The organizers reserve the right to prevent a participant from continuing if the race team concludes the participant is in any safety and/or health danger.

  • A participant caught littering on the course will be disqualified! No waste of any kind may be left in the competition area. Each participant must collect all waste they generate. Waste can be left with marshals at control points or refreshment stations.

  • Sportsmanlike behavior must be maintained throughout the competition and in life in general. A participant who deviates from proper sportsmanship toward judges, marshals, other competitors or other path users (pedestrians, spectators, etc.) will be disqualified. Examples of unsportsmanlike conduct: aggressive overtaking, curses, pushing, blocking overtaking, behavior endangering others.

  • It is forbidden to accompany a runner by bicycle or to enter the course as a supporter unless starting with all runners.

  • A participant forced to withdraw must immediately inform the race team. An emergency phone number appears on the bib. Participants leaving the course without notifying the organizers may be charged the costs of search teams dispatched to find them.

  • The routes are marked throughout with arrows. Do not deviate from the marked path. At every junction slow down and look for the official competition arrow: straight, forward, right or left. Do not turn if you did not see an arrow indicating so. A red arrow pointing down warns of danger ahead: crack, hole, rock, cliff, etc.

  • Timing will be provided by B-Timing.

  • Timing is by gun time – the starting signal.

  • Appeals: Appeals that may affect the placing of the top 3 winners in their category must be submitted orally to the judges within 30 minutes of result publication, with a prior payment of ₪400 which will be refunded if the appeal is accepted. No appeals will be accepted during the ceremony.

  • E.&O.E. – The organizers reserve the right to make changes.
